Building a travel blog (or a blog in general) takes time, creativity, the right tools and funds. Over the years, I’ve tested dozens of platforms and affiliate programmes and kept only the ones that genuinely make my life easier and my income more consistent.
On this page, I’m sharing the affiliate programmess and blogging tools I actually use behind the scenes at Nadia Halfway. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your monetisation strategy, these are my honest recommendations.
These tools and websites have rewarding referral programmes: you can either receive a bank transfer or use they revenue within these platforms.
⚠️ Disclaimer: If you sign up through my link, I’ll earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you), and you’ll get all the benefits offered by these affiliate programmes.

Travelpayouts
If you’re serious about monetising your travel blog, Travelpayouts is one of the best tools you can add to your stack. It’s an all-in-one affiliate network that connects you directly with top travel brands (Booking.com, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide, and more) all from a single dashboard.
No more juggling dozens of separate affiliate accounts. In fact, with Travelpayouts, you manage everything in one place, hit a single payout threshold, and access professionally designed widgets that integrate seamlessly into your content and convert naturally.
When you sign up through my link, you can earn up to $100 in bonuses: $25 when you install Drive and sign up, another $25 when you hit your first $100 earned, and $50 more when you reach $1,000. That’s real money to kickstart your affiliate journey.

Stay22
Stay22 is one of those tools that genuinely changes how your readers interact with your content.
It lets you embed interactive, travel maps directly inside your blog posts, allowing readers to browse and book hotels or holiday rentals without ever leaving your page. Prices from Booking.com, Agoda and other accommodation platforms are displayed side by side, so your audience can compare options in real time. The result? Higher engagement, longer time on page, and more commissions for you.
If you create travel content and want to offer real value while boosting your affiliate income, this one’s a no-brainer.
And the referral deal is genuinely worth it. Sign up through my link and once you reach 100 confirmed bookings, you’ll earn a $100 bonus.

SafetyWing
SafetyWing is a travel insurance built specifically for digital nomads, long-term travellers, or remote workers. It offers flexible, affordable health policy that you can purchase and manage from anywhere in the world.
SafetyWing offers two ways to earn: as an Affiliate, you earn a flat fee at approximately 10% of the total premium, and as part of their Ambassador programme, the rewards are mutual, meaning what you earn, your friend earns too.
- When your friend signs up and makes their first qualifying referral, you both receive a $100 bonus.
- When your friend completes five qualifying referrals, you both receive an additional $500 bonus.

Amazon Associates
No list of affiliate programmes would be complete without Amazon. It’s one of the most well-known and accessible affiliate networks in the world. Almost everyone shops on Amazon, which means your recommendations are far more likely to convert than on niche platforms.
As an Amazon Associate, you earn a commission every time someone purchases a product through your affiliate link. The percentage varies depending on the product category, so it’s worth checking which categories align best with your content to maximise your earnings.
For travel bloggers, the opportunities are endless: from luggage and packing cubes to travel adapters, cameras, and guidebooks. If you’re already recommending products to your readers, you might as well earn from it.

For bloggers juggling multiple channels, it’s a real time-saver. Instead of switching between apps to check your Instagram insights, plan your Thread posts, and monitor your Facebook page, you have everything in one place.
The free version is absolutely fantastic, but the upgrades are on another level. On top of that, their referral options are flexible and all reward you with a 15% commission.

For bloggers, it’s genuinely useful. You can access tools like hosting plans or platforms such as Canva and CapCut at a significantly reduced cost, without compromising on quality.
GamsGo offers both a refer-a-friend programme and a full affiliate programme. For now, I’m sharing my personal referral link and I’m currently in the process of joining their affiliate programme too. Sign up through my link, make your first purchase, and you’ll get up to 10 days free.

Just paste your blog post URL, and the tool automatically pulls your images and titles to generate a batch of ready-to-publish pins in seconds. No design skills needed, no hours lost in Canva.
If Pinterest is on your to-do list for months, this investment is the shortcut you’ve been waiting for. You can choose different plans based on your needs, with both monthly and annual payment options available.

Hostinger
Every blog needs a solid home, and Hostinger has been mine since the beginning. It’s fast, reliable, beginner-friendly, and affordable without cutting corners on quality.
For bloggers, site speed isn’t optional. It directly affects your SEO rankings and how long visitors stick around. Hostinger delivers on both fronts, with excellent performance and an easy intuitive setup process.
If you’re ready to start your blog or switch to a new host, this is where I’d point you.

Airtable
Airtable is the organisational backbone of my entire blogging business. It’s part spreadsheet, part database, part project management tool. I use it to plan my editorial calendar, track work in progress, organise and keep my content pipeline running smoothly.
Airtable credits are earned by inviting new users and collaborators and can be applied to a workspace to pay for or offset future billing costs.

Revolut
If you travel regularly and still rely on your regular bank card abroad, you’re likely losing money on every transaction. Revolut is a mobile banking app I personally use and recommend as it is very travel-friendly. It lets you pay worldwide at the real exchange rate, avoid foreign transaction fees, and even earn rewards (RevPoints and cashback) on your spending.
Besides all the great features it has to offer, Revolut periodically runs refer-a-friend promotions with rewards of up to €70 depending on the campaign. Signing up through my link could unlock a bonus for both of us: simply sign up, verify your identity, and make 3 purchases of at least €5 using your Revolut card.

Shutterstock
If you’re a travel blogger with a library of photos and videos from your trips, why not put them to work? Shutterstock is one of the world’s leading stock platforms, and as a contributor you earn a commission every time someone downloads your content. Travel imagery from landscapes to local street scenes is consistently in demand, especially for less touristic destinations.
But the earning potential doesn’t stop at your own portfolio. Shutterstock also has a referral programme that lets you earn from the people you bring to the platform:
- Refer a contributor. Earn $0.04 every time one of their images is downloaded, for the first two years after they sign up.
- Refer a contributor with video. Earn 10% of the sale price each time one of their clips is downloaded, for the first year.
- Refer a customer. Earn 20% of their first payment, up to $200 via this link.
It’s one of the few affiliate programmes where your referral earnings keep coming in passively, long after someone has joined.

Vinted
Even if it doesn’t fall under travelling, blogging or travel blog categories, Vinted is a good idea for a side hussle. It’s a place to buy and sell pre-loved clothes, accessories, and more. I use it regularly to clear out my wardrobe and fund new travel outfits without spending a fortune.
The best part about joining through a referral? It’s a genuine two-way deal. When you sign up through my link, list 3 items, and make your first sale, we both walk away with €15 in credits split in the following way:
- €5 when you upload your first three listings;
- €10 in addition once you complete your first sale.
Please bear in mind that Vinted occasionally suspends its affiliate programme. Keep an eye on your profile to see when it becomes available again!
